Lachanià - Rhodes
The green heart of Rhodes beats faster in Lachanià, a rural village in the far south of the island. In recent years it has become the most new age and ecological place in Rhodes: here lives a community of artists and writers. The houses are perched on the edge of a verdant throat. South of Lachanià, a less frequented beach is Plymiri. It has fine sand and is protected by two rocky promontories.
