Faliraki - Rhodes
It 's the first village on the road that descends from Rhodes town. Faliraki is full of beach bars offering cocktails with inviting names and restaurants offering international cuisine (perhaps too much, in fact you can also have the British fish & chips) Rodini Park (outside the town, 3 Km towards Faliraki) is now a reserve of deer, a symbol of Rhodes, and an oasis of greenery crossed by canals and streams and with a small zoo (currently without animals).
Here was built in 330 BC the famous School of Rhetoric, attended by Julius Caesar and Cassius, but now only few traces remain.
