Anthony Quinn Bay - Rhodes
On the way to Lindos, just 3 km from Faliraki, there is this small cove of turquoise water, edged by reddish rocks, with a beach made of pebbles. In high season it is full of people.
The name of the bay refers of course to the famous actor who came here in 1961 to shoot the movie "Guns of Navarone" and then played his famous role in "Zorba the Greek", the film by Michael Cacoyannis of 1964, known for the music by Mikis Theodorakis and set in Crete.
